Re: NZ to boycott matches in Kenya
Welcome West Indies to Super Six.
NZ cricketers are paranoid. Its causing huge stir in NZ media. I mean if other international cricketrs are happy to go and play in Kenya, then what makes NZ cricketers so specials to be a potential target of terrorists!
Totally insane. This is NZ's best chance of having a serious shot at the title in 10 years.
it's just beginning, i think england and australia will forfeit versus zimbabwe as well, making that group very difficult to come out of since essentially pak, ind, aus and eng will be fighting for two spots since zim has pretty much qualified.
this also means that the nz-wi is a knockout match since nz has already lost one match. look for SL, SA and WI to come out of that group.
it was really sad to see NZ doing this
aur waise bhi aik hi din ki to baat hai, they can go there on the eve of the match n leave the as soon as the match is over, n i bet ICC will be very much working hard with the security, its really de-moralizing for the fans in those small countries!!!
NZL baord and players are really chickeneris… Three of thier players boycotted the Champions trophy in Sep last year coz of security concern. I mean that guarantees do they need
I hope they dont qualify for super Sixes ![]()

I think If Australia wins against Pakistan (God Forbid) and India in its first two games, then it will forfiet the Zim- Games. Same goes for England, when they get sure that theu can qualify they will forfiet, because there is no deadline for informing that hey are playing.
Either ways NZ don't have a chance to make it to super sixes so this time they actually have an exucse

naa yaar sherry, i hink they have a stronger shout then Sri Lanka. I doubt if Sri lanka make it to the super sixes.
Englands first game is against Zimbabwe! ![]()
Even if Newzeland sumbits their 2 pts against Kenya, they have a pretty good chance of making to the super sixes if they beat all other 4 teams except for South Africa which they will.
If Zimbabwe gets 4 pts then they will definatly go to the super sixes even if they lose to Pak and Ind, just by beating Holland and Namibia.
And if England doesn't play in Zim and give up their points than they can just say goodbye to the WC because they have no chance in the World of beating Pakistan and Australia and maybe India.
Ah the white teams always act up over security, good for WC that they dont show up. Them the ACC can formely have a coup-shift the presidency between India-Pakisan-SRL (ACC controls some 80% of ICC income!) and then let the Australians, Kiwis (and if they dont behave the English) back in on our terms, such as if they beat us too often there results are void. :rotfl"
Before you all cry-this was a joke.

You are not aware of point system of this world cup.
win = 4
Tie = 2
Loss = 0
but intresting point is that while moving to Super six team carries all the point scored against the other qualifying team from the group plus 25% of the point scored against non qualifying team.
SO even if NZL moves to Super six they will definitly loose 1 point that they could have got from Kenya.This 1 point can become a difference bwteen semi and no-semi.
I agree with rest of point.If AUS and ENG dont play in zimbabwe then only 1 of IND,PAK & ENG will go to Super six... :(
