Why does everyone focus so much on making that ONE night special? Why not all the other so many nights to come!? Too much importance to that ONE night makes me sick. U'll be so tired of taking off u're makeup, pins etc and the backcombing u'd drop! It's not like it's just one night spent with u're husband, there'll be so many more Inshallah. I'd buy myself a variety of stuff that's actually practical and comfy too!

there was a tv docu series on bbc about muslim women and fashion in different countries. the dubai episode had some interesting stuff - the manager of AP in dubai said the kinkiest stuff sold the most there. lol.

I think these unmarried girls/about to get married are not sure how they will feel on the wedding nights. You guys might be really excited but trust me, after the wedding, as Gina said, you will be tired. You would just want get your attire off, jewellery off, most prob have a shower and get a good nights sleep!

ywah that is what i meant, your saying that we should buy comfy nightwear and stuff because in the end of it all we will be too tired to "do" anything so that is us girls right? so i am saying what about the guys? guys will be less tired and they do not have to remove make up or pins and heavy attire and all that so what if they are fresh and "ready"

^lol. i think it's gonna depend on how well you know your hubby beforehand and/or how caring he is. even if he's up for it, he's not gonna make you if you're tired, i'm sure he'd be content just being able to lie and sleep with you.
i feel sorry for the girls who have arranged marriages and all the guy cares about is getting sex on his wedding night!

but i agree with you on the last line.. poor girls who do not even know their husbands properly ! and maybe are nervous like anything on their first night

Most likely you'll both be tired. That doesn't mean you can't have some fun, but don't force it. If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, there's not judgment. It doesn't mean you're any less passionate and caring for each other than any other couple.
