I just had the pleasure of attending the game and test out my new 70-300 mm Nikon lens. So I thought I’d share my takes:

1. Oakland dugout
2. Derek Jeter - Yankees

Wow, nice camera. Is it a DSLR? Pictures are focused quite nicely. I always found it hard to take decent quality pictures of sporting events as it takes a lot of tinkering to get them correct.

No, they were all hand-held. I was thinking of bringing my monopod, but stadium ppl are getting stricter by the day so didn’t want to chance it. Didn’t even bring a bag with me, so was stuck with just one lens.
