well reasonable is relative....

i know the boutique 'Karishma' on 74th street jackson heights has some nice stuff....u might be able to bargain too....and one is called pashmina...its not on 74th exactly u have to ask around...

We are looking for bridal clothes and some clothes for her to ware after the wedding , for parties and stuff anf perhaps some everyday wear... Mainly desi clothes .. salwar kameez , saries , and lehngas.

Well since we have to do alot of shopping and the grooms family is paying for everything i dont really know the budget. But thanks for the store info… anyother store that you recommend ?

Why don't you go and walk around there.

There are a lot of stores in jackson heights and brooklyn has a few as well.

well jackson height is best for wedding shopping like lehnga and sari's and also best for party wear clothes but they have too much kam on it typical indian style pajamas and kameez .
If u need light kam walay shalwar kameez like embrioded clothes than there are many shops on coney island ave brooklyn, Anchal boutique is best for light party wear suits i always like her styles.

they have belly baring lenghas but also regular shalwar kameez gurl! what i love about them is that their clothes have a better finishing than the other stores in jackson heights. yeah they are expensive but i think karishma is the better choice when u r looking for one great outfit. chand ki pari- if u want regular stuff to wear after the wedding check out the other stores around karishma since karishma is kinda expensive in that regard...

YEs it is!!! The stuff ive seen, belly stuff, halter tops, etc.. i’ve also seen decent lenghas too and most every store in JH comes wiht sleeves attached to the sleeveless stuff, but karishma goes overthetop.. some of their clothes i dont think come wit that option, of modesty-fying the outfit (how u gonna fix a halter or belly shirt :p)… but yeaht eh stuff is definitely nice and i’d buy it, if only my fatasss cud fit into anything nice :mad:
