INTERNSHIP
PURPOSE
• The Philanthropy/ Administrative Intern provides overall administrative and organizational support for the company.
• The intern also learns about the field of Philanthropy from a professional and is mentored.
• Internship may vary from minimum 1 month to maximum 3 months flexible
• Nonpaid Internship, flexible schedule, part-time available
• Reference available at end of internship based on performance
• Availability: June-September 2011.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree and a minimum B average GPA.
• Technologically literate with strong computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel;
• Strong oral and written communication skills;
• Self starter who can work independently;
• Interest in Philanthropy;
• Strong organizational skills and record keeping. Attention to detail is critical;
• Skills in establishing priorities and managing workload; ability to multitask;
• Interest and experience in administrative work, extremely responsible, highly organized and detailed
• Ability to travel once a week to Long Island
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Organize Internal documents, filing
• Consolidate contacts and prospects
