The rankings that I provided were based upon: Student Selectivity, Faculty Resources, Research and citations in International Journals in which NUST consistently ranks lower than GIK(except in student selectivity in which its only up by one place) and in few instances it even ranks lower than SZABIST.
The rankings that you provided were based upon: Financial Resources, Student/Staff, Graduate Students and Internet Bandwidth. Now some of them are important but it is pretty evident that NUST mostly ranks lower than GIK (and SZABIST in some cases) where it mainly matters.
Again, if it makes you feel good about yourself that I got rejected from NUST then sure, I consider it khidmat-e-khalq.
On a side note, Spock doesnt it hurt when you think you are like good but you are not. Right now you are in the denial stage,but the recovery starts from here. So you are on the right path MR.GIK reject

I have learnt that the BSc Engg (mechanical) students of the National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST) have successfully manufactured a solar car that can cruise at a speed of 40 kilometers per hour. To manufacture this car, the students have spent an amount of Rs 75,000 only out of their pocket money.
It is an acknowledged fact that Pakistan despite being an under developed country is not short of talent.
The efforts of the students and their faculty members involved in the project, need to be acknowledged and properly rewarded by holding a function and projecting this in the media. The car developed by them should be further improved by providing proper guidance and allocating necessary resources to these students, with a view to make it a commercial proposition.
Such projects are part of the final semester at NUST. Various Solar Engineering projects have been administered and implemented in EME College NUST, and the impressive solar labs of EME are visible if one passes through GT Road on way to Peshawar.

Since when did Karachi University make the top rankings? Every Amir, Sohail and Faiza in Sindh goes there. Jeez.. and to put it in the same catergory as LUMS and Aga Khan... sacriligeous don't u think?
Ok Enough is enough. I am too tired of hearing this petty bickering going on here. If you so arrogant to be uncourteous to other schools and students from other schools then I think your school is seriously missing something in manners and politeness.
Each person who has access to the internet and has had the ability to go to a college should count themselves very lucky since there are millions out there that never get that chance. the fact that you are a degree holder should give you enough pride in yourself and your school to prevent from this bickering.
