Right… i have been wondering for 8 months now on what colour to do the nursery and still no idea (im not a very creative person neither which doesnt help) however I have come across bedding which i do love, its the baby k range from mothercare Mothercare - Boots, i dont know the sex of my baby and dont like the neutral colours like light browns etc as I find them boring, i want fun vibrant colours my baby will like to look at…so ideas people on what colours I can do the walls etc, what other things are needed in a nursery

you can go with bright yellows, greens, oranges, aquas. I think even if you know the gender, it fun to be creative different colors and not stick to one specific traditional color palate.
If you put bright art work/accessories on neutral walls, that will really pop up and I think both you and the baby will enjoy looking at them.
i LOVE your bedding and furniture choices! i wouldn’t do orange on all walls, no. possibly do a light grey like benjamin moore’s abalone or silver fox on 3 walls and do one wall in a warm orange. you could even make it a small wall, instead of a big one. orange is one of those colours that works very well in small doses. or you could do three pale grey walls and one charcoal gray wall. the white furniture would really pop against that.
also gray is a great neutral so if its a boy, you can use pops of orange and teal maybe in cushions, curtains, and rugs, and for a girl orange and hot pink go very well with gray or even any shade of purple from lilac to eggplant.
wall decals for the nursery in case you don’t just want to do plain walls… whatever your feature wall is, you could easily incorporate one of these on- they’re very easy to apply, just peel and stick and they come off super easily too so you can reposition them. i have the wee gallery jungle ones in my son’s room- BLIK Artistic Wall Decor, Wall Decals and Home Goods
i spread them out so there’s a couple of monkeys under his book shelves, a lion over his change table, and the rest of the hanging vines and monkeys over his closet doors.
