I got a breathable mesh bumper from BRU for her crib and its working fine for us. But i also didnt put the bumper in till she was able to hold her neck up and i was afraid she will bump her head in the railings and hurt herself. It is something like this:
We also never bought a bedding set since i thought she wouldnt use the quilt/comforter it came with. I do have a couple sets of plain (nice and soft) sheets and several blankets so we interchange with that. She is so young that she doesnt care about her bedding and i iddnt want to buy one set and then be bound with the design i get. This way i can change anytime i want and get whatever colors i want just by changing the sheets.

But to be honest, i havent had to use this much, Alhamd. I had it on for a few months and removed it once for washing and havent put in on yet. But its always a good idea to have this in case of accidents.
