number of days for Hajj packages

I was wondering if anyone here has gone for 10-12 day Hajj ?
The packages I have searched are from 15 to 20 or more days. I am inclined to go for 10 or 12 days. I was told by someone that with fewer days we will be more pressed on time to visit places/sites in Medina. I am sure with so many people there, it must get difficult but I am looking for personal experiences.

Where are you based? The US based Dar ul Islam has a 10 day hajj package.

Yes, I am in US.
what I meant to ask was is 10 or 12 days too short a time ?

I went for 9 days last year because I had left kids back home and couldnt afford anymore ; it all went fine MA. We reached on the 6th Zil-Hajj and reached Makkah, left for medina on 13th Zil-Hajj (a day after returning from mina) for Medina after Fajr, left for Lahore from Medina on the 15th Zil-Hajj

Most people I know here in the US do the 10/11 day package because of work schedules/taking time off/leaving the kids. I don't think it's too short from what I've heard. My own parents did the same.

Inshallah, I am planing to do the same shorter package when our turn comes because I will not be taking my kids and my husband most likely will not be able to be away from work for more than 2 weeks

10 days are more than enough.
