Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

Bajaur militants agree to surrender unconditionally -DAWN - Top Stories; October 30, 2008

By Anwarullah Khan
KHAR, Oct 29: A number of militant commanders in Bajaur expressed willingness on Wednesday to unconditionally lay down arms and stop attacks on government personnel and installations.

It is learnt that the commanders, who attended a jirga of Barmakazai and Oryazai tribes of Mamond tehsil, agreed to surrender and give an undertaking to the political authorities about their good conduct.

Prominent elders of the two tribes, including Malik Manjfar Khan, Malik Fazal Mabood, Malik Gul Mahmood, Malik Saeedur Rehman, Malik Ghaffar Khan and Malik Shah Tehmas Khan, attended the jirga held at Kas Krewand.

The commanders assured the jirga that they would stop carrying arms, patrolling in vehicles and using motorcycles. They also promised not to resist security forces entering the area.

The jirga decided that any tribesman found sheltering foreigners would be fined Rs1 million, his house would be burned to the ground and his property would be confiscated.

The elders observed that thousands of families had left their homes because of militants’ attacks and military operation.

The jirga said that security forces were bound to enter the Mamond area and people would suffer if they faced any resistance.

Malik Shah Tehmas told journalists that the jirga was satisfied with the assurances given by the militants.

Assistant political agent Nawagai Mohammad Jamil Khan also confirmed assurances given the militant commanders at the jirga.

The elders would meet the political authorities in Khar on Thursday and inform them about their talks with the militants.

This is great news, hopefully all militants surrender. I really wish all this craziness to end so Pakistan can regain investor’s confidence and that there is no more threat to integrity of Pakistan. I also hope any attempts to sabotage it fail miserably.

1) FIA/ISI should investigate if these Pakistani militants are link with any foreign agencies, RAW, FBI, CIA, Mossad. If they are then they should be punished for their involvement and support for foreign agencies.
These militants should be go through psychological evaluation, video tape their testimony.

2) Pakistani government should implants microchip(embedded silicon chips) in Pakistani taliban/Militants/Jihadi leaders for surveillance/tracking purpose.

3) Pakistani government should develop rehabilitation/reform programs for ex-Militant/ex-Jihadi.

Rehabilitation process should involve relocating them to different town, city or province. [My suggestion is to relocate them to Sukkar or Gilgit or Jhelum.]
After rehabilitation, they should be provided vocational training and Jobs or land in Punjab or Sindh so they can use it for Agri purpose.

This is the only one of the ideas that's realistic. Saudi Arabia has a highly effective rehabilitation programme for militants that Pakistan should learn from and emulate. They get non-extremist ulema to preach and debate with jailed militants to get them to realise how the militant's actions were against Islam.

F
great you realized it.

While we are at it lets plant a chip in every single politician's A$$ too.
With a micro phone.
Lets execute all our past rulers.

At least we can plant a chip in the Pakistani Taliban leaders and those crazy Mullahs who are spreading hatred.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

I agree. But lets not forget all other who brought pakistan to this condition.

I think change of environment would also help in rehabilitation process. I would help to relocating ex-Militants/ex-Jihadi to a different area, City, town or province.
My suggestion is to relocated them to Sukkar or Gilgit or Jhelum.
After rehabilitation, they should be provided Jobs or land in Punjab or Sindh so they can use it for Agri purpose.

Do you volunteer to listen to the microphone output? :D

I believe Option 3 is what Pakistan should do, also they should be investigate for any foreign support they received while working against Pakistan.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

you guys are so funny.
How about if we investigate PAkistan Govt. for having foregin connection?

hahahaha

micro should not be placed there.

hahahaha

Man do you know whats gona happen if they fart? The darn thing will explode.

Yes, you are right, corrupted politicians should not be allow to run for any government offices.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

If they surrendered, this is great, and I hope the Govt shows some wisdom and does not screw it up, like they used to in the past.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

More good news, though from different area. I really hope all these Talibans are deported (in case of foreigners) or jailed/punished/de-armed.

Taliban vacate area after talks -DAWN - Top Stories; November 01, 2008

Lets make a list of all the past rulers still alive for the execution.
Farooq Laghari
Justice Tarar
Nawaz Sharif (we may need to execute him twice)
Parvez Musharraf
Zafrullah Jamali
Chaudhary Shujaat
Shaukat Aziz
I hope I didn't miss any one.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

^ You conveniently missed out Altaf Hussain, and please dont dare say he hasnt ruled Pakistan.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

We certainly need some plan for the rehabilitation of surrendered jihadis, like Saudi Arabia. Few years back they have such a big jihadi terrorist problem which is almost gone now.

Re: Number of Bajaur militants willing to surrender unconditionally!

I also missed Qazi Hussain Ahmed and Imran Khan. But naturally I was referring to people who ruled pakistan not who dreamed to rule.

Had you made a list of rulers NOT to be executed then you could have saved quite a bit of space and bandwidth..

Thankoo.
