Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

Has anyone tried this serum? It has great views on Amazon but its official site looks bit blah so was thinking if any of you here knows it?Amazon.com: NuFountain Fresh Cosmetics C20+ Lightening, Oil-Free 20% Vitamin C Lightening Serum, 1.0 oz., Made Fresh When Ordered: Beauty

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

Why do you want to lighten your skin? You should be happy and proud of what your skin colour is already. Besides if it does lighten your skin it will only lighten your face and not your whole body so it might look a bit strange.

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

Oh hooo I just wana get rid of my horrible acne scars! i never use to get acne but since i got PCOS i started to get them and they are really horrible ones really big and leave huge marks so i wanted to get rid of that!

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

Hey ganxta_girlie - have you tried the chemical peels that have been discussed a lot recently? My sister is using a 15% glycolic acid night cream on her scars only and it's helped a lot.

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

Hey Stoppit!! I have never tried any of the chemical peel Im not too sure of them I know there are Salisylic Acid,Glycolic Acid,Lactic Acid but Im just not getting them and the "peel" word seems bit scary too but if its available in a cream sort that sounds good to me..Can you lemme know what cream is your sister using? I use to have super clear skin but since 2 years on and off I started to get horrrrifying acne and acne scars do you think RHO would help heal these scars??

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

There are lots of threads in F&B explaining the peels and how to use them. It’s not scary at all.

I actually originally bought RHO for my sister’s acne pigmentation and we discovered how awesome it was all around after that. It does help fade pigmentation a bit quicker for sure… probably the retinoic acid and vit C it naturally contains.

I bought my sister this: Glycolic Acid 15% Night Treatment 50ml
She started off tentatively.. using a little and after every 2-3 days. When she became used to it, she started using it every night… with RHO as a morning moisturiser of course. Really has lightened her scars a lot and improved the tone of her skin.

Doing an appropriate peel regularly would get quicker results.

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

^Agree.. A peel would get you results quicker..

With a medium-deep peel you could prob get rid of the marks in a single treatment..

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

hi
what is RHO?

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

I know someone who uses this (not the lightening one though) and SWEARS by it. She says it helped clear up her unevenness, redness and soothed and calmed her skin tremendously. Also, if you want to clear your acne scars, you should also look into AHA/BHAs and add those to your routine as well as some Retin-A to slowly exfoliate the skin away.

Rosehip oil?

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

Does anyone know the difference between Alpha hydroxy souffle and the above mentioned glycolic acid cream? One is higher in strength and the other in ph level… what does that mean?

Here is the alpha hydroxy one

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

^^ I was wondering that too!

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)

The lower PH will be stronger and more aggressive.

Re: Nufountain Lightening Serum (Vitamin C)
