Yes we’ve all seen nude portaits that one can argue are art…actually, these days people call anything art :chai:]. But my question today is about nudity…what is so artistic about drawing/painting a person who is naked? :hmmm:

Human body is a piece of art in itself, artists find it very interesting to draw body shape or parts I guess and besides most of them don't come from an Islamic background so it is okay for them.

as what i have heard is artists saying that nudity is nature and its purest form of human .My teacher used to draw nude pics and when i asked the same question from her she told me this "we artist take nudity as no sharam its the pakeeza form of human"

It is double the effort to draw a picture and then dress it up . And since artists are lazy by nature so they leave them naked. If they were not lazy they would do something more productive , like work in a factory or at a Burger King. :snooty:

and the question that arises in my mind is how do people hang such a portrait in their home. I tell you people are confused about everything these days.

drawing a human form is a great challenge for any artist first and many people take that challenge (these people are not bound by religion)

The human body is very detailed with its curves, lines, angles, and various textures like wrinkles

It helps the artist practice because of its intricacy (at least that's my idea).

Many animals also have lots of wrinkles why not paint those . :hmmm:

Also, they take many pictures of naked folk. It's been in the papers so many time. I think there was this naked ride on in Alton Towers for charity a while ago. Why not do that with clothes on?
