Can someone please suggest a few shades of nude/ neutral lipcolors which go well with desi skin tones. The lightest/ nudest I hav right now is this matte one by Revlon, mauve it over. I love it, but just that it’s a little pinkish, plus cuz of the matte effect, Ive to make sure that I’ve moisturized my lips real well before putting it on b/c it creases up soo much. Mostly I just put clear gloss on top of it..
So yeah, what other shades would do? How abt MAC shades.. which ones are popular nude shades?

You dont really require a special nude lipstick. Just exfoliate your lips before you apply, then take a lip pencil in a shade 1-2 steps darker than your natural skin tone, fill in sparingly with the foundation you use for your face, and blend the liner into it. That way you have natural definition.
And when I say sparingly with the foundation, that means just a dab or two. You can use a lipcolor setting BASE before you apply all of this, or a lip sealant for longer wear.

velvet teddy is a matte lipstick by mac, it's fabulous..it's the same exact color as my lips and it looks amazing with gloss on top of it

i like "spirit" from MAC too
its not sooo light that it washes me out but just enough color and i put shimmer golden gloss on top

Try ample pink by MAC, its a nude pink...very light, works perfect for me!!

I have Taupe by MAC which is a lovely pinkish-brown matte color.....that appears neutral/natural on the lips, while still providing definition.

best thing i would advise u is to do the smokey eye look urself or ask them to do it for u before trying on nude lipsticks
it's hard to visualize unless the look is complete
thats what i did before i picked the shade i liked
and do see urself in different lightings esp natural lighting because it would look diff there and u can see what undertones it has etc

moral of the story: go to MAC, you'll find a bazillion nude colored lipsticks you'll love :D
I LOVE nude lips ... except everytime i try it with foundation my lips get really chapped within like an hour its so gross.
