Does this affect your current generation console plans?
In my case, not so much. I’m kind of disappointed with it as the XBox One is my console of choice but I’m still looking forward to XBox One exclusives more than PS4 exclusives. Particularly Halo and Quantum Break. Apart from that I prefer the XBox controller to the Playstation’s.

I'm planning to buy a Xbox One myself. Even though I'm a hardcore fan of Street Fighter series (since SF2) but this exclusive is not going to affect my decision. I don't think fighting games are worth changing your console for then again I'm pretty sure Capcom will be releasing it for the Xbox One someday in the future. They just can't resist any opportunity to milk as much cash as possible from everyone.

I can't confirm or deny that. Though if I really wanted to play SFV I could just get it for PC.

I think Street Fighter is a much better fighting game out there. Killer Instinct has to go a long way before it reaches the same level as SF. However, Mortal Kombat X, when it comes out will help soothe the pain caused by the lack of SFV. Lol.

I was hoping it would support the XBox 360 controller since I already have a wired USB one. Off this particular topic, that's one of my complaints about the XBox One--it doesn't support the XBox 360 controller and there's no good reason for that.

Maybe, because they want to promote the new hardware? I would've preferred if it had supported Xbox 360 games! :D

There's no reason they couldn't have got the console to be backward compatible with the 360 controller. The Xbox One and XBox 360 controllers are almost identical anyway. Backward compatibility for games would have been nice too but that's a different story.
