Theres a store in pakistan called 'gourmet'. We used to occassionally buy cakes and things from there!

Yes there is. And infact, there are 2 Gourmet near Faisal Town. A Bakery as well as Gourmet Restaurant.

I think there was one near iqbal town also. Its on the road that goes straight up in the direction of lahore university i think...
