these foot balls are being sold in toronto.well i havent seen that one ,but did see its picture in the paper..so lets see what will happen in canada:konfused:

Re: Now its in Canada

stupid Saudis :hoonh:

Re: Now its in Canada

how come they are stupid??????stupid are those ppl who are making such foot balls.SAUDIS cant change there flag due to this:p

Re: Now its in Canada

could be a blooper on the part of the manufacturer

or someone could be doing it on purpose (sounds quite stupid though)
I would hold my horses and wait for more facts.

Re: Now its in Canada

^ The KSA should have asked the designers to remove the kalima, and replace it with "Saudi Arabia" - or something.

Anyhow - what about Team Iraq? -- Allahu-Akbar?
btw was it some local no-name newspaper?

Re: Now its in Canada

^^

How would the KSA know that the manufacturers were planning on making this? You don't need to ask a country's government's permission to make images of its flag.

Nonetheless, in the era of mass printing, using Allah's name in situations which would lead to non-muslims reproducing it and treating it no differently to anything else is irresponsible.

How many books out there feature the Saudi flag? How many posters feature the saudi flag? how many photographs of the saudi flag have been made and reproduced in the media and left to rot or decompose or be desecrated simply by being treated no differently to a photograph of the venezuelan flag?

Allah SWT's name should not be taken so lightly by any nation as to use it in a situation that will expose it to abuse.

Re: Now its in Canada

God cannot be abused by someone stepping on mere words

Re: Now its in Canada

thats soo stupidd..football with flags...whats wrong with these people..what exactly are they trying to prove...they shouldn't be allowed to put any country's flag without their permission...'

Re: Now its in Canada

They wouldn’t have been trying to prove anything. They’re trying to make a football world cup themed product, by using symbols of all the participants. The most recognisable symbol of any country is its flag.

PS: Do you mean that Gupshup should have to write to the government of Pakistan to get permission to use :jhanda: ?

Re: Now its in Canada

Football world cup theme…yEAH okayyyy
no i mean things like football and stuff…we are not disgracing the flag using :jhanda:..but football i mean com’onnn

Re: Now its in Canada

:naraz:noooo way…the’re not stupids…

& Sheen u didn’t mention which newspaper…

Re: Now its in Canada

i dont think the company knew about the important religious symbols on the suadi flags

Re: Now its in Canada

guys let me ask my hubby..i think it was LOCAL PAKISTANI NEWSPAPER..we got it from BATALA ,a desi store in toronto.

Re: Now its in Canada

Hey, if Chinese are making it, it can't be stupid. They are your best friends after all.

ŀĹҰ⪠ĶҢåŃ](http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=17095563782570538160)china is the up coming imperial power

Noor: china could be even more frightening than america…cause they have less moral than americans…far less

ŀĹҰ⪠ĶҢåŃ](http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=17095563782570538160)noo america is frightning,,,,bcz

u just study china,u ll get it by ur self,

[Noor](http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=17924461284592646603): hmmm go to america and then go to china..compare situation of the two country and tell me where you would prefer to live?

in a country where you are free to be muslim, or in a country where religion is illegal?
in a country where it’s perfectly legal to kill millions of people by infecting them with AIDS contaminated blood…or in a country with modern hospitals and doctors
in a country where it is illegal to have more than one child, or in a country where you are free to marry and have children
in a country where moving fom one region to another is not easy..even if it is just to live with your wife, or in a country where you are free to travel??

and the list goes on and on..america is dangerous to some extent…but i’d rather live there than in china!

ŀĹҰ⪠ĶҢåŃ](http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=17095563782570538160)nice statment,,,

everyone is khudgharzzzzzz n dis worldddd,
china is a bit better thn us?
anywayzzz its international affairs.
** today china is our frnd, tom it might be our bloody enemyy,no trust on internation affairsss,**

[Noor](http://www.orkut.com/Profile.aspx?uid=17924461284592646603): just remeber one thing about China:

my dad allways say chinese want 3 things:
-first, your technology
-second, your money
-third, your leave!
lol…**chinese are no ones friends…they smile till they get their business done, and increase their cash flow…
**
Noor: ooh, i’m not a politic expert…but i’m very good at understanding cultural differences…and i know there is a huge difference btw chinese and american cultures…
americans are not shy to tell they think they are the best and all other countries should surrender to them, it’s partly what they want, but they also shout louder than their guts! lol

on another hand, chinese are not openly stating their will, but they really think they are the best people in the world, the most civilised nation..older one, originating of the whole other asian countries…and that the world exist to be their slave as we, non chinese, are inferior to them.

Re: Now its in Canada

Sheen we had around 200 of those balls sitting around in our basement cuz my dad saw them at a store and noticed the saudi flag with kalma on it so he bought all of them from that shop. ofcourse that doesn't solve the problem, they should do something about it..
