Re: Nothing suits me???
i have the same problem!! when it comes to desi clothes....only some outfits suit me, others make me look fat!
Okay heres what I learned....
-salwar kameez with 3/4 or full sleeves (fitted) make you look slimmer than half sleeves.
-I have big hips...stay away from fish cut lehnga's! they only emphasize your hips.
-Anarkali's look good, but only the soft material one's....so stay away from that last picture! also if you have big chest, stay away from it altogether.
-Capri salwar kameez with heels, give attention to your angles, so you'll look a bit slimmer. Another plus if your kameez is 3/4 or longer sleeved.
-short shirts and churidar's only look good on models! your big hip/butt will stick out from the side...stick with salwar or capri's.
-Patiala salwar are nice, but since there is soo much fabric by your hips, you'll look short and emphasize hips.
-If you love short sleeves but hate your arms in it (like me) get sleeves made where it is up to your elbows (its also in fashion) ...and if your getting it made....try getting "alot of kaam" done on your sleeves part, this draws attention away from your arms and onto the "kaam" of the cloth.
-Never buy a lehnga (usually indian lehnga's are like this) where your shirt falls just at or a little bit above where your lehnga starts. This will draw attention to your hips, make sure the shirt is longer than where your lehnga starts (if not longer).
-Heel's do wonders to body slimming
-Lehnga with long shirt will look great on you
hope i helped! :)
