Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

You know sex attracts people across the board :cb:

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

I just don't understand the right criteria of censoring.... There was an ad of Mathira on contraceptive product... It was not that bad in visual... but this Magnum ad is more graphic... Okay.. this is just my opinion....

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

The fact that you made a guest appearance in this section also says something, lol. :D

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

Let's make this thread an epic controversy. Maybe we should invite Anwar Pasha from PA to work his magic and sexualise this great thread posting hundreds of half naked picture of Imran Khan. He's creepingly so good at that....

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

who says so? Manto is most read writer in Urdu literature.... No doubt he portrayed real problems of the region, but his most famous works are 'Thanda Gosht' and 'Kaali Shalwar'.

"parliament se Bazar e Husn tak' is most published book that is available from liberty to a thela wala selling pirated books for Rs 20-30. Tehmina Durrani's 'My Feudal Lord' is most popular among burgers and its Urdu transalation 'Meda Sain' sells like hawwt cake.

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

:hehe:

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

Mahool - That was obviously a joke.

Interesting to note that you used the word 'gandi' to describe skin showing pictures so I guess that kind of aswers your previous post asking why there's more sexual content available and percieved non controversial in Western Literature, unlike in Urdu literature. There you have expressed the difference of atitude that explains that.

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

I am talking about new authors... and that doesn't include Altaf Hussain.....

Noor clinic... is not selling sex but talking about actual acts.... People in our society are generally more interested in it.... While... sex education is provided at school level... Am I making sense?

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

:emmy: aap ki sui ek aspect pe atki hui hai… Altaf Hussain has been mentioned for controversies and not for sex :smack2:

Re: Nothing Sells like Sex and Controversy

Well that is because of difference of modern and typical mindset. Both content are sexually attractive.
If you go to rural areas you will find people listening 80’s and 90’s song plus these songs Punjabi songs but it’s otherwise in urban areas. Modern mindset finds it somehow less vulgar just because it comes from popular mainstream media. One is rendered in most popular tone and other in backward tone.
