Anyone has hands on experience of Galaxy Note 3? How’s it better compared to Note 2?

I tried it at Apple shop. The only thing I like about it is making notes, you can actually write with a pen and make notes during meetings.

Yes, Lilly . All the phones of Note series are like that, u can make notes etc with the stylus pen but I want to know how is it different /better than Note2.

I have one and I think that where they have excelled in Note 2 is the more RAM (1.75 gb out of advertised 2 GB) as that really helps smooth things along as a quad core processor is useless without it. Before with the 1 gb ram (more like 743 mb available), the UI would lag and be choppy. This is the drawback of Android that 1 gb in android is not the same as the optimized 1 gb in iPhone. I know the android fanboys here would come and say no it ain't so and you can do ROMs blah blah but that is the truth like it or not.
^ so, apart from upgraded 3 GB ram (note 2 has 2 GB, at least this is what is specified) and smooth running , what else is new?
I got note 2 not so long ago, so I was wondering if upgrading to note 3 is really worth it?
Btw, not into the "gear" thing that much, which comes with it.

LOL I was asking you. I have Note 2. Here is a link to Note 3 specs: Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specs The camera is better at 13M, display is true 1080P and probably a better processor, though to me the processor is moot at this time. Honestly with android cameras, it is not always in the same league as iPhones and even then, they usually all suck at low light photos. With iOS 7, the camera flash has the pictures comes out light blue like someone put a blue filter on them.

So, what do you think is it really worth it to upgrade to Note3? If you're really hooked to note series, stylus pen thingy and a big display .

First of all, are you ok with a bigger screen? The new note is around 6" (however you measure it) but it is still bigger than note 2. For me, note 2 has hit a sweet spot with the processor and 2 gb ram though a better screen and 3 gb ram probably wouldn't hurt. I surf on the phone (email, videos) but I am not playing games or writing papers. Ultimately, it would depend upon your "needs".
I agree, note 2 is more than sufficient to meet the needs of users like me , making calls, text, web browsing , e mails etc( no gaming , writing papers, at all).
I wanted to buy the 7" tablet, google nexus 2013. After the release of note3 , I am un decisive as to buy a seperate tablet and keep note 2 or upgrade to note 3 and forget about the nexus tab.

Things in Note 3 that are better than Note 2:
-3GB memory (vs. 2GB in Note 2)
-Much better camera, 13mpx taking stills
-Takes 4k video (you just have to find a screen to watch the better resolution video, lol)
-1080p screen, blows away the Note 2 screen
-Much smoother UI
-Screen size = 5.7". Note 2 was 5.5"
-IrDA remote, to make it a universal remote
etc etc.
Price is about the same as what Note 2 was when it came out. The overall size is the same as Note 2, even though the bigger screen (see also S4 vs S3). Its a bit awkward during the first week of use but then you get used to and its difficult to go back to a smaller screen.
