A sexless marriage is not a fault of one person. Both partners need to make an effort.

1- Realize the fact that his own pleasure is just as important as hers.
2- Right after the baby is delivered.

there is some hadith more or less like ... CURSE ON THE WOMAN WHOM HUSBAND WISH FOR SEX and she sleeeps.

Emotional disengagement, people mostly get married for financial and personal security and most of the time they put their love second or third priority. Do the people who get married for love live a happy life? Marriage is about two people working things out and sex is definatly one of them...the sooner the better coz life is too short people too short.

actually i’ve heard that hadith as well…if the husband asks for sex n the wife denies…then the farishte send her laanat all nite long…n if the wife asks and the husband denies…then the farishte send him laanat all nite long (not that a guy would deny it)

Well it’s quite cruel to deny a spouse sex… but the spouse should understnad why the other person might not be upto it, there IS a such thing as marital rape and Islam does not advocate that with that hadith as many misunderstood ppl might try to make it out to be..

Communication and mutual respect. If someone doesn't want it then you can't do anything. But men have to remember that a little romance goes a long way. And a wife should communicate her needs. Too often women are shy about what they want and a man just wants what he wants. ;)
