ok so its about my weight…i have pcos and it got diagnosed in summer last year…anyways i have always been fat :frowning: and i hated it…i rarely eat junk, cokes chocos etc and all the skinny ppl litterally have tonnes of crap to eat and even if i eat nothing and work my back off i lose nothing :frowning: i have had days of crying, misery, guilt xyz…i hated every moment of my life due to me being overweight and not able to wear good clothes and aunties telling me…“beta, excercise kia karo…wazan kam karo ye kehwa piyo” arghhhhhhh i mean ahh just forget it…!

also, i would have to wax litterally every 2-3 days…:frowning: ouch waxing hurts

anyways, doc gave me contraceptive pill to regularise my periods and told me you gotta eat it for about 8 months to 2 years to see any results…! so i was okay…i will give it a go…!

anyways…i have been having that pill for the past 5 months now and started my weight lose journey on 22 oct 2010…and so far i have managed to loose 1 whole stone…yipee…:smiley: cant explain how happy i am…btw thats about 6 kgs…:slight_smile: ryt now i am 64 kg…from 70 kg…i got to admit though that i do get depressed watching other ppl eat all the yummy food, choco’s etc…and i have cheated on countless occasions during the past 2 months and yet been able to loose weight…:slight_smile:

i tried to eat around 1200 kcal everyday along with lots of water and ops i forgot green tea…omg this is truly magical element,…i was once watching adgks with this pakistani designer maria b and she commented that drink green tea and ajwain and saunf kehwa…after food…i tried making the kehwa many time but got fed up with having to clean the pan afterwards…and it is not the nicest taste available anyway…so i drank green tea where ever i possible could…so u can say about 4 cups a day…

also one trick i learned is that to eat a bit of fatty food such as chocos or parathas every 3-4 days it kind of helps to raise the metabolism i guess as your body thinks you are getting lots of fat and they start working out and den you dun eat any and they still work out…! it is kind of confusing but i hope you guys got it…

i also bought lateral thigh trainer of the ebay as we had it a few years ago and my dad lost 8 kg in couple of months on that…i did it everyday or tried to do it everyday after drinking honey water with lemon in the morning…!

anyways i will be seeing doc in about a 2-3 weeks times again…and i really wana loose more atleast 2-3 kgs so i can be 61-62 kg for my bmi to look good in front of the doc…! :smiley:

plus i wana continue it all the way down to 55 kg in next coming few months…:slight_smile:

the thing is despite of having tonnes of fibre…i get constipated…also my weight gets stuck on a certain point for quite some days and den drop again…get stuck and drop again…and i get quite frustrated…! :confused:

plzzzzzzzz suggest me a diet plan of some kind or any other tips…:slight_smile: i will be so grateful…:')

plus also if any one wana buddy up with me for the next 1 month to loose 3-4 kgs…you are more then welcome…:wink:

nida can u read my comments in mahika thread then we talk ,did u check yr fat in weight machine by the way thanks for kehwa of sounf ajwain ,i forget t now i will start it coz i like desi kahva not brands green tea .i lost my weight through food and swiming after c section

Yup, that's smart :).

I got a hint of PCOS in my report BUT i didnt take any medication though the gyno suggested i do but i was too wary of the side affects that could follow. Also, a physican i really trust with his knowledge suggested i work extra hard to loose the extra weight and don't go for any medication as such.

So far it is working fine for me though it means the results will be slower even with more hardwork but i would prefer it this way anytime.

Get a big floor key board. And type with your feet.
With such long posts, you will lose weight pretty quick.

For PCOS - there are medications like metformin, spironolactone that can help you lose weight. I would recommend a diabetic diet. Try south beach or cut out carbs (roti, potatoes, bread, rice) from your diet along with exercise and it will make a huge difference.

can anyone suggest any proven excercises to help with the lower body and tone up...i am thinking of buy the skecher shoes to tone up?
