Ok so a very very dear work-friend of mine is having surgery tomorrow. something to do with his spine I think- not sure. The thing is that I can go and see him today for sure, but im not sure about after tuesday. besides i don;t know when he will be back at his job after the surgery. Is it ok to go and take him something before the surgery or should i wait till after? and if its ok to go before the surgery which is today, what should i take him???
Well you go visit someone at the hospital primarily for 2 reasons
1: To know how are they doing?
2: To let them know that you are there for them in this difficult time and this helps a lot in healing
Now your 2nd purpose will be well served if you even go before surgery but to serve the 1st and utmost important purpose, you can only visit him after surgery.
Just visit him today and hope you will get time soon after his surgery. As far as what to take? I normally take flowers with fruites and juices
Ok so I didn;t figure this part in…who comes to work a day before his spine related surgery? He is already at the hospital. Should have thought about this on friday Going to the hospital won;t be possible. Good thing is he was advised by his doctors to stay active after the surgery and not rest so he should be back to work soon. Will take him flowers and fruits then.
