I am really disappointed how Pakistan is known for good cricket and how our team is suffering in World Cup. I really wanted Saeed Ajmal (amazing bowler, allrounder), Mohammad Hafeez (amazing opener) , and Fawad Alam (amazing batsman) there instead of Nasir Jamshed.
Here is an article mentioning that Mohammad Hafeez was going to recover from his knee injury within 10 days and was capable of playing the world cup but the team management ruled him out by replacing him with Nasir Jamshed against his wish to be sent back home: Mohammad Hafeez Says he Could Have Recovered in Time for World Cup - World Cup 2015 News
“The team management felt differently and ruled me out of the tournament, for me it is the management’s decision; it’s for the best,” Hafeez said.
This latest article mentions how they are working hard and thinking positive but Waqar thinks our two key players are missing from the World Cup which includes Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad. Don’t know why it mentions that they are suspended but aren’t in reality. Waqar targets SA victory | Sport24
Is there some sort of dramabaazi going on? Pakistan is not performing at a world class level. Why did Misbah not stood up for these players?
Re: Not selecting Saeed Ajmal or Mohammad Hafeez - Management Issue
That smart replacement made 6 runs in 4 games :P
Selection process look at domestic cricket statistics, and therefore he found spot in national team. Inzimam also performed very bad in WC of 2003 and scored only 19 runs...
Pitches in Australian Continent are different then our Asian pitches.

I know that the pitch is different but Ajmal himself said that they didn't wanted him instead selected Jamshed.
