Have you ever applied for a role and realized after the first interview that the management style of the leadership just does not make for a good environment in which you could excel?

If this hasn’t happened to you, what would you recommend to someone in this situation?
Mine was a bit different. I worked at a place where I didn’t really like my job. Any successful place should have an environment where someone can express themselves and showcase their talent. I found the enviorment too hostile and the managers too interested in doing little themselves yet taking all the credit while dumping all negative performance on those who worked beneath them. So I left. I figured my sanity was more important.
