Manisha Koirala’s supposed high profile wedding has suddenly turned low-key. And all because of Nepal’s reputation of being an unsafe place for a visit. Thus, Manisha who is finally taking the plunge, with Nepali businessman Samrat Dahal, on june 18th is not expecting many of her Bollywood colleagues to attend her wedding.
Manisha’s best friend Deepti Naval, though, could not leave her alone on the biggest day of her life and has decided to attend the wedding. Deepti recently directed Manisha in her debut directorial venture, “Do Paise Ko Dhoop Chaar Anne Ki Baarish”.

One of Manisha’s friends from Bollywood revealed her reasons for not attending the wedding. “I’d love to go. But Nepal is not high on my list of seeable countries. One hears about the violence there. It isn’t safe,” she said.

Manisha, though, is planning to host a sort of reception in India for her Bollywood buddies, after she is back from her honeymoon. “I had planned a big do for all my friends in Mumbai right after the wedding. But that seems unlikely now. Family and friends in Delhi also want to host a reception.So we can’t have one and ignore the other. We’ll leave for our honeymoon immediately after the wedding. After we come back, I plan to have a reception-cum-birthday party,” smiled the actress.
