I am not eating sugar, wheat or having diary foods. I am eating lots of vegetables, fish and sometimes rice.
I have been on this diet for very long time but still not loosing any weight- not even one gram. its very frustrating as I have gained a lot of weight and cant fit it into any of old clothes.
My metabolism values in my blood test were in the normal zone - though its less than before.
I have some gastro-intestinal issues and therefore my system is not really functioning properly. could that be a reason? but still I should be loosing some weight no?
Chameli.......let's say that you have a huge portion of fish, rice, and veggies 2-3 times during the day......without working out.....you WILL gain weight! Even healthy foods have calories, girl. If you're eating healthy BUT not exercising.....those calories are just gonna add up. You will lose weight if you burn more calories than you eat. Also include fruits in your diet as they have plenty of fiber and keep you full for a longer period of time.
To lose weight fast and more effectively, you need to combine cardio and weights. So, hit the gym girl and get on that treadmill. Or if you don't feel comfortable going to the gym, put on your sneakers and go for a jog around your neighborhood. You can also jump rope, as it helps u lose fat from ur whole body. Exercise for 30 minutes 3-4 times a week. And lift 5-10 pound arm weights. Also, add bicycle crunches as they help to trim the waist-line.
Some foods are healthy but contain many sugars such as fruit juices....so limit how much juice you drink. Drink plenty of water.
