Is there a time limit on editing one’s own post? I posted something a few days ago, and want to edit my post, but the “Edit” button is no longer available. I can now only “Quote” my own post like the other members.
Is this an issue which will be resolved soon or has it always been there.
My current solution is to ask the the Moderator over the forum to edit the post for me, which I am sure will become a bit cumbersome as time goes on depending on the availability of the Mod.
Yes... one of the changes in the new system is that a member can edit his/her posts within 24 hours. After that, no editing can be done by the members. If any post needs to be edited, they should send the request to the moderator of the forum, who will use their best judgement to evaluate all requests.
On the other hand, a good news is that a member can 'fix' the title of their thread, within 5 minutes of posting. After that, they have to request the moderator to fix the title.
