A king of a country wanted to find out the persons who were not afraid of their wives. His minister invited all males and announced throughout his empire to come to the king’s court the next day to tell whether they are afraid of their wives or not. Every participant shall get a gold coin but the person telling that he is not afraid of his wife shall get a fine arabian horse in addition . It was also announced that persons speaking lie shall be imprisoned.
On the desired day there were long queues and persons came one by one and told in the ears of minister whether they are afraid of their wives or not.
All the persons from morning till evening came and said yes they are afraid, only one man came and said no he was not afraid.
That man was taken to the king. The king was pleased to see the man. He rewarded him with a fine arabian black horse.
The man was very pleased and smartly rode on the horseback and speedily went to his home.
After about one hour he returned back to the king and said," O Lord! Please change this horse, my wife says she likes only white horses"
