loneliness in itself is v painful. Dont sympathize with her but empathize. Once done you would never leave the note. You dont want two lonely eyes and a guilt haunting you for the rest of your life. And please dont say about someone that they have 'no life'.

I stopped honking at slow cars (usually being driven by someone elderly) on the road years ago…when my own dad wasn’t able to drive at night anymore. When you see an elderly, handicapped or sad (in anyway) person…put your loved one there and then deal with them how you’d hope a stranger would deal with them.
She isn’t nosy, creepy or weird. She is dong what a lot of people do…she’s people watching. Its common, nothing absurd about it.
