Nosebleeds

How often do you get them?
Once you get them how do you make them stop?

I personally never have had one…but I have a friend who gets them constantly…and I’m worried about their health…cause I don’t think that’s normal…and I have heard if you eat lots of “gharam” stuff like nuts and dates etc…that will cause nosebleeds as well…is that true?

Re: Nosebleeds

I've heard about the garam stuff too.

There is long time since I had one. I use to have them frequently when working in the lab doing BSc cuz of the stuff we were working with.

Basically what I know is that you have nosebleeding when you thorn a blood vessel in the nose, I am not sure if its the complete truth!

Re: Nosebleeds

I used to get them a lot as a kid....haven't had one since, till about a month ago....

Most of the times, nosebleeds are nothing to worry about; the seriousness depends on what kind of nosebleed it is - anterior or posterior. In most cases, it is anterior, but if the bleeding can't be stopped or keeps occurring and you feel faint or weak, then it's important to consult with your doctor.

Re: Nosebleeds

hmmm...ok that's interesting. So how would you break a blood vessle in your nose other than the obvious way of getting hit there, cause he didn't injure his nose that way. Could it come from sneezing really hard lol? (i'm being dead serious)

whats the diff b/w anterior & posterior?

Re: Nosebleeds

Read this link, it’s from the NHS:

It could be the environment shes in, or the weather. I always get nosebleeds if its too hot and especially if its dry...or if I'm super super stressed

Re: Nosebleeds

I used to use a tissue paper after running off to latreen

Agree I have seen more people get it during summers.
