okay I got my nose pierced abt 3 wks before and since last 3 days I am having this small bump. My wedding is after 7 wks and I want to get it fixed as soon as possible!
any home remedies? I am not looking fwd to apply medicated tubes as they peel my skin. I have sensitive skin.
you should have pierced it atleast 4 months before wedding as in most of the cases it creates a lot of problem, are you having bump inside the nose or outside? currently what are you wearing chandi taar or nose pin ?
I had it get infected and it was oozing puss (gross, I know). I later realized it was due to sweat and possible dirt from when I would go out (I got it when I was 15 and it was the summer) so what I found worked was never touching it with unwashed hands and washing it twice a day with some soap and applying an antibiotic cream over it while rotating it gently. It cleared up within 3-4 days at most. Just apply the cream using a cotton swab and only apply it around the piercing and rotate it gently. And keep the area clear of oil/sweat/dirt since that can irritate it.
When I got my nose pierced (earlier this year), I really made sure to clean and disinfect the area, along with rotating my piercing. Within about a week...it was no longer red or painful. I used an alcohol swab. You just need to be diligent about keeping the area clean.
makd do u live in pak or somewhere where you have neem ka darakht. The best best remedy is to take out your pin and insert a neem ka tinka. IT will heal very well.
You have to keep changing tinka when it becomes soft, I had the wworst kind of boil filled with puss and oil. I did the neem ka tinka totka and my puss disappeared in days. This was what my dad had seen my grandmother do for her daughters and neighbors.
Hope it helps.
DON'T use alcohol or hydrogen peroxide on it- it will take away the good bacteria on your skin also that your skin needs to heal
make a mixture of boiled and cooled to warm temperature water and sea salt and soak your nose in it (kind of an awkward position, but just put it in a bowl and put your face to the side and dip your nose in)
if there is any crustiness or puss, etc. dip a cotton swab in the salt water and use that to clean it off after you have soaked for a while- then use some clean salt water (the one you didn't soak in) to rinse
this is what they told me to do when i got my nose pierced and i never got an infection or had any problems with it
like someone else said- you do need to also rotate the nose pin so that skin won't try to grow over it- gross, I know, but a piercing is a wound after all, and the body wants to heal it- you can use a little neosporin (put it on the inside of your nose with a cotton swab so it doesn't clog your pores on the outside of your nose and give you blemishes)

^^this...sea salt soak then rinse it and use blow dryer to dry that area...
Also try turmeric past it is a natural disinfectant and has worked for a few girls I know
when I got my nose pierced I got a small bump too and it wouldnt go away. I changed the nose pin from the regular one, which you get when you get piercing, to a silver or gold one and that solved the problem.

i think i should really try changing it. actually I hav this fear that if I take out that chandi ka taar and try to insert neem ka tinka what if i failed to take that neem ka tinka in! :(

why will you fail! you can easily it in but make sure that you are inserting the tinka in the exact hole because the bump hides the hole after removing taar and apply bhona va salan ka tail on bump it will go soon..
any kind of tinka didnt suit me .. what worked best for me is chandi ki pin (nose pin)
dont touch it as M suggested try to apply betnovate creme in and out it worked for my sister .. and it will take time to go atleast a week
