Five years ago I got my nose pierced, and I always used to wear nose pins that had a large “face,” that sometimes got caught/snagged on things-- like pillows, towels, etc. It happened enough times that it ended up ripping down my nostril so that the face of the pin would lay much lower on the nostril than it originally did. About a year and a half ago I took the pin out to let it heal over and get it repierced. This summer I’m going to go back in to see if it’s ready to be repierced, but I’ve heard stories from people who say that their hole never healed over.
I hope it does, I miss having a nose ring, but it just looked odd to me when it was so low on my nostril. Has this happened to anyone else? Did yours heal? I’ll be one sad panda if I’m stick with a permanent hole that looks weird =/
