i dont know where you live but in india during summer time its common in some kids or elders....due to excess temperature...

Location isnt everything.... Some kids have a lot of heat in them.... My bro used to get nosebleeds so often growing up... He sweats when eating food even! And this is canada!
Aother friend has a 4 yr old that has gotten nosebleeds ever since she was a baby...lives in denmark..another very cold country....doc says it will goaway as she grows up... Same thing we were told for our bro... Just limit foods that have a garam taseer..like nuts and lentils..
Keep them cool. Give cumcumbers and yoghurt.

MY daughter had it first time yesterday dinner time. I noticed she has been eating lots of pistachio and walnut. she is 4 yr old.

1 walnut is enough for a kid that age.. per day.
pistas are a sure way of getting nosebleeds in such kids...
tell her to take a break for a few days...
my son loves dry fruit but not everyday. he will be 3 next month... the only thing he can have everyday are raisins. in a sandwich with butter... walnut i give him every other day.. 1.
peanuts he loves but he isnt allowed those everyday. 2ice in a week. 1/4 cup.
the day he has one dry fuit.. i dont allow him any other.
such a tender age... should go easy :)

Oh yeah I remember I was one baby who has this severe even if I m sleeping n it's get very hot it start bleeding I remember when I was in school my teaches used to pour cold water over my head n it used to stop it gradually finished when I turned 15 allhumdullah
But I m still very careful wht I m eating :)

mine has had nose bleeds from the age of 2 weeks.......freaked me out one day when I found her lying on a blood-soaked blanket.......
since hubby and I both grew up with this condition we figured she is doubly likely to inherit it.
I follow the same rules as khawateen though keeping her away from pistay and kajoo is a major task.

I know humidifier helped my nephew from nosebleeds. He used to get nosebleeds all the time at the age of 3. So we placed a humidifier in his room which made a huge difference

I dont know what causes them but as I work in a school alot of children seem 2get them i work with children aged 5-7 .. just on friday in assembly a little boy suddenly had a nose bleed so I had 2sort him out .. It just happens and thats it .. last year a little girl in ma class she had a nose bleed every other day .. bless them I think they just get used 2it

I was the one who used to have these nose bleeds a lot. All four of our siblings were on same diet and eating habits still only I was experiencing that. It went away with time Alhamdulillah. I even remember it when I was in Engineering School I had one.
Dont worry it will be alright by the time. Doc says its nothing to worry about!
