What are northern lights?
Northern lights is the name of a light phenomenon often seen in the northern regions. The lights have been around since Earth formed an atmosphere -the dinosaurs saw it, early humans saw it and our descendants will se it. The scientific name for the phenomenon is “Aurora Borealis”, aurora for short.

They can mess up satellite signals , however , the beauty of mother nature is simply speechless. Thank you for sharing.

I have seen the northern lights from churchill, when I was in Canada about 10 years ago. I think it was Churchill , far up north in the Hudson Bay area I believe. Awesome light show.:)

i grew up in nothern canada, do my dad and i used to make it our little trip to see the lights, but since i moved to toronto i haven’t really thought about them much, these bring back nice memories, thank you for sharing :blush:
