So far Long Island is being hit pretty bad. I’ve already shoveled thrice. Expecting 2-3 ft by morning.
On the top of it, my snowblower just decieved me in time so back to labour work.

This must be the storm of the century they keep threatening the NorthEasterners with every year, which fizzles out in the end. 
Maybe you will get more because you are next to the Pond.

I had a rather curious experience, landed in NYC Sunday night for client meetings, saw msgs as soon as I turned on my phone that due to Juno, most of my team can’t get in, their flights are cancelled. Initially I thought of just staying but was advised to bail, so went to midtown, checked in, called agency to get flight changed, ate, and went back to the airport to get out. Total time from landing to take off, 8 hours.

I am supposed to be in NYC again but looks like Chicago weather may play havoc with my flight plans this week. Winter flying can be an adventure, but you have to just go with the flow.

How’z my chicago (midwest) brethren doing? Heard they got hammered badly again.
For us a 1 ft. snow forecast turned into a couple of inches changing into rain which made it totally slashy. But will take anything but snow

Please take all of it by all means. Like yesterday we’d this bizarre periods of rain and snow and it made entire exterior so messy especially cars and roads. The drops of rain froze and snow became rock hard within few min. A normal 45 min commute this morning was 2.5 hours.
We still hv a couple of months to pass this winter

Our panic begins the second the ground starts glistening evidencing the fact that frost is about to form. It really puts a damper on a average cheery british persons mood in the morning when they have to carefully and slowly proceed towards their car taking baby steps in case of slipping, in a bid to defrosting their car screens for a good 5 mins prior to leaving. Heck, one neighbour puts his car to sleep with a blanket on it’s front screen. Yes, this is true.
