**I was thinking, all these moderators are hard at work for 14th August with different competitions and things and where does that leave us? .. **

**I say we have our own competition. Everyone deck out your profiles in green!! **

**The best one will be mentioned here :stuck_out_tongue: … **

I have already decked my blog and profile pic and stuff hehe…

what are your thoughts on this?

Aisha... The competitions you will see from the following week will be among guppies and not among moderators. Gupshup members will be the core part of the whole celebration.

AQ lol i know that members contribution is there but those are initiated by the administration and moderation team of gupshup.. not the common folk

There were people who contacted us and became part of the projects after we invited them to work with us. Everyone is free to give us suggestions and be part of Gupshup. Moderators are just facilitators; Us members are the one who run the forums in real sense.

Really? i had no idea about the people contacting the admins and mods. That is really great. Ok AQ i put down my swords, still i have to say is this is not a bad idea to implement.

I think it would be looking great if many of the GS members have the colour scheme according to the independence day, like in greens and white etc… It better not be a compitition, but it would arouse the element of excitement throughout the forum :blush:

Amazing!!! That would be a great thing to do. Also I was thinking that there should be a thread in GupShup Voice Gallery for Independence Day where GS members could sing their favourite patriotic songs.
