great news noori fans. After a hiatus of 3 months, noori is in the process of recording their album. Check this out.

For those of you who though that noori is on its way out, watch out as the band is coming back with a second album!

After locking themselves in their Abbotabad hideout for over a month, noori have finally finished the compositional stage of their upcoming album, titled Peeli Patti Aur Raja Jani Ki Gol Dunya.

According to the band, Peeli Patti Aur Raja Jani Ki Gol Dunya is the next logical step to their previous work. It talks about what happens when the young and aspiring face the harsh realities of the real world. With this album the band wishes to venture into more mature avenues with songs that are more reflective and introspective.

noori is currently in Lahore, laying down the tracks for the final cut. It also includes some of the already known noori songs like Ooncha, Khalla and Saari Raat Jaga, something that our great fans had been anticipating for quite some time.

Though a release date hasn’t been finalized, the band has promised to update their followers on a regular basis. So stay tuned with nooriworld.net and watch out for special journal entries, teaser demos and of course, the countdown for the release of noori’s second album, Peeli Patti Aur Raja Jani Ki Gol Dunya!

However I must say Ooncha hoon Mein is really a great composition and both Ali Azmat and Ali Noor did a great job on vocals. :k:

SKMHJ was also long , but umm the album wud b more matured ..

i`m not much into noori these days , they just disappeared for sumtime ..

dude are you serious you’re saying this to BrokenSky. You just registered in March 04…check out all the noori threads on this forum and tell me if there’s any bigger fan of noori than BrokenSky at that time…but i think he said tht he isn’t in noori these days.

BrokenSky, third album…let’s wait for the second one…u named third one like the date has been finalized and all…when do u think wud that be released?
