Then its said that they they are the first Pakistani band to perform so and so gigs in so and so time..Then its said they have applied for it!!!! Ha ha..

While all that acclaim was garnered in just one city through the campaign, Noori has applied to the Guinness Book of World Records as well. Things are still in the initial stages as far as worldwide exposure is concerned, and the band is not really sure what the previous record is, or what they are up against. "We have applied to the Guinness Book of World Records in the category of 'maximum number of live performances in minimum number of days'. However, there is a certain time they take to process such requests. They will be getting back to us very soon and we will know whether we have made it or not."

but atleast they r applyin for it! they cant juss go and apply for it! there must b sum qualifications or abilities which they think they have. And I personally think that noori got those abilities after all they recieved the best rock band award.

First of all, them being good and bad doesnt have to do a thing for a quantitative guiness award. And yes, sorry to burst your bubble, but who gave them the award you are talking about? Just a website on the web, and let me tell you a bit about the owner of the website. Safwat Saleem is the brainchild behind bandbaja. He is also is designer of e.p’s cover and the recording package. He is the owner of hypestation e.p’s site. He is also the running e.p’s offical site and forums. The articles on bandbaja are too e.p friendly, always praising them and no article so far told us e.p’s minus points. No article on bandbaja has told us about e.p’s crap live performances. E.p grabbed the most four awards. This is enough to tell what bandbaja is.

the point I and Dejavu are trying to make is - the thread is misleading - first it claims guiness calls Noori 'first pak rock band' in the title...then when you open its 'first pak rock band to perform gigs yada yada' and that too applied for it...so you see my bro the content of the post is nowhere close to ''first pak rock band' hope you get my point..
