She did well for herself and has some good songs to her credit, but personally I feel there’s many other Pakistani singers who sing with more grace and without all the “effort,” or let’s put it this way, who actually have an understanding of music…examples: Tina Sani, Nayarra Noor.

I have never heard any one singing better thumri and khyal then her - May be Iqbal Bano or fareeda Khanum could match her in Ghazal singing but Tina or nayaarra , they arent even in her league …
