In an era when singing Faiz Ahmed 's kalam was banned over national Radio - she didnt give in to Military dictators and sang Faiz at many public functions … so what does it make her - Revolutionary ?
Once Invited to Dhaka for a State function - where she sang for hours - for whom ? Not for the state’s guests only but also for the people working at that hotel where she stayed … she did a private function for them - humanitarian innit ?
we should focus on her singing ability and music knowledge rather then bringing such issue in light … she was a true melody queen and the biggest singing star Pakistan has ever had - you know there are two Noor Jehan in the history books…One was queen of a king. she got Taj mahal.
