Okay, so then at least be mature enough to diffrentiate between personal stance and "hey look this is what Islam says, oh look how stupid of a religion it is".
Ohioguy, that is ridiculous. After holding off in the WWII war with isolation policies, US has never been isolationist after WWII. Like ever.
I'm not saying Islamic empire fell because of the US. It never existed when the empire existed. I'm not saying that muslims are doing evil things to each other because of the US. That's absurd. But I'm saying our modern foreign policy has a great deal of intrusionism as a theme. Maybe we need to look at that. But we wont, because if we're not intrusionist at this point, we wont be a superpower anymore.
Like I said, the problems you see between muslims and non-muslims has nothing to do with Islam. Its a total power struggle. I'd like to just see people admit that for once instead of dragging the religion in.
