In countries like United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Lebanon, etc., how are nonMuslim prisoners treated? Do they have access to their own scriptures/texts - like say the Bible? Do they have chapel services or access to a chaplain? At Guantanamo, for the first few weeks (at the very least), if i am not mistaken Muslim prisoners had no access to halal food, copies of the Quran, an Imam, nothing. Gradually, they did receive the “right” (not privilege) to worship freely as they chose. It was a right that should have been granted from the first second they stepped foot in Guantanamo.
Same thing for nonMuslim prisoners in Muslim countries - what sort of rights do they have? Is anyone aware?
