ECP not to include ‘none of the above’ box in ballot papers**
ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has decided to defer inclusion of ‘none of the above’ box in ballot papers for the upcoming general elections.
According to the ECP sources, any changes could not be made in electoral process after the announcement of election schedule.
The ECP sources said that there are various legal complications in the inclusion of ‘none of the above’ box in ballot papers, however, it added that the advice to include the new box would remain valid in the future.
With an overwhelming majority of youth disenchanted with the sham democratic system, the option of “None Of The Above” would have put to shame a huge number of candidates and political parties. It would have been a good tool for voters to show their anger over the choice of candidates by different parties. I hope we have it in the next elections.
I think what they did was to give people a chance, people who are sent to polling station under influence.

There are other ways to waste your vote like stamping twice.. NOTA box is not an option.
With the way things are going on some areas of our country, it wouldn't have been really be far fetched for Mr. 'None of the Above' to actually win a seat or two.
