Re: Non-religious parents

parenting must include religiousness.
and if parents are not religious, then the child (at a certain self awareness and identity or personality formation stage in life) must be able to freely choose to be religious. religion enables an individual to protect her/his self from being confused and listless when it comes to morality and what is in our lives which ought not to be guided by and practiced according to moral conscience??
religion provides that extension bridge, if you will, to the unseen hereafter, which we can walk on for our own good, without reaching the other end (afterlife), before the set time for us to leave this world. and yet, we can gain the fruit of our labor, one by one, by improving our selves and by searching on our own, as to why the logic and reasons provided in the letter of Allah swt are
perfect.
being religious or honestly trying to become religious gradually, in the true sense, is a noble way of life, much nobler than one that entails hypocrisy of words and actions.

there are so many bad actions, little or small, which people make a habit
but if there is devotion to religion and it is seen as a sacred way of life, there is nothing more orbital for one's life to be meaningful as alive.
science and the worldly living can become enhanced when religion guides what we do, in this life.

even when people are not parents, and reletively lead a moerate non eligious life, they still know the value of the true teachings of a religion they are born in - our beloved faith with all its pillars.
of course it is only my personal opinion.
