Non Red Barat Dress

Hi All,

I am looking for a Barat dress not really in red colour. Some pastel colours like rust, peach etc. Anything with a minor touch of red can ofcourse work for me.

Please share the pictures. Thanks

the younger generation appreciated the new color trend however i’ll be honest and say that the elders did not like the fact that it wasnt red for baraat.

i thnk there are some brides wearing off white gold or rust orange which looks as much traditional as red.but care should be taken i saw some brides wearing non red and their pictures looks like the r walima bride.in my opinon 1st day dress shd look traditional and red is one way to go for it.if not red make it old school vintage looking enuf

o i saw one peach colour dress it looks amazing u look cute but the traditional element isnt there it is a contemprary design.but u look so cute mashlaha

i m planning to get a non red bridal dress too but not sure so m waiting and seeking more.i hav my heart set on some gold and off white dresses but i dunno if i get thoese made from some shop how is that gonna turn out since designer dresses look a bit diefernt wen coppied.but i m also planing that i hav some smaller nikah ceremony bfr the wedding and waer red in that so it will be like i wore red too one day and some non red traditional dress too

correct! i indeed went for a contempory look on the baraat. my walima dress was turquoise and arabic style whereas my mendhi dress was pure tradiotional gotta.

i guess you need to have a look at Bunto Kazmi and Dr Haroon designs , they are very traditional with their designs and they have done a lot of peach/cream dresses.

My cousin's family doesn't wear red for their functions..lol. She wore emerald green, the kaam was gold and multicolor. So beautiful.

I wore hot pink, there were accents of turqoise and peach, lots of multicolor kaam...my valima dress was maroon, so it was almost reverse..but pink is my favorite color and I can't imagine NOT wearing some shade of it at my own wedding!

i wore beige, ivory and tan with kaam in silver, gold, maroon, and olive green.

I wore a combination of light pink and dark pink. My colors were not conventional but my dress design was a traditional gharara with shirt length till 'gotth ', had dupatta drapped from the front. Not one of the elders said a thing on that day (though they cribbed earlier) about not wearing red because they were so delighted that I didn't go for any of the modern cuts girls were going for these days.
