so what about non muslims who are doing good things for the society? … will they still go to hell? … if they are good on moral & ethical grounds then they shouldn’t be punished or should they? … what if they are doing good for others, will they get ajar for this ? … how?.. what is their fault if they were born in a family where they were raised as non muslims? … are we muslims responsible for that because we didn’t preach them ?

From what I've heard, they should have converted to Islam after they had matured up. Religious are common knowledge.
Them, You, me and everyone else here is going straight to hell.
Just for the argument sake, Lets say that you were born in a non Muslim family. Would you have converted?
I know I can’t claim for myself that I would’ve. Especially now that mashallah Muslims have painted such a great picture of the religion, I don’t know what would be my motivation to convert.

Emaan is the source that will keep one away from hell...
Allah is merciful indeed...He rewards their good deeds in this world..by giving them every good in this world...rest hidayat as Quran is for all..for MUslim or non muslim...whoever understands it,,may Allah take away from this world as a good Muslim momin Ameen

I dont think one should be discussing about who is going to hell and who is going to heaven. It is the job of Almighty Allah so let him decide
Good people will get their reward in this world or hereafter so why should we label anyone

We should recognise that Allah (SWT) will weigh out our deeds as though they are weights ... And shirk and Iman are extremely weighty ... So goods deeds alongside shirk are nearly not even worth comparing ... However, even in this measuring out Allah (SWT) will exercise Mercy ... But at the end the best bet for us is Iman, good deeds and seeking out His Mercy ... And none shall enter paradise except for His Mercy ... And people will enter both
Jahannum and Jannah ... That much is clear and evident in scriptures ... Who they will be is to be found out.

The risk with talking about who is going to heaven and who is going to hell is highlighted in the second part of one of An-Nawawi's 40 Hadith (found in both Bukhari and Muslim), where the Prophet (pbuh) is quoted by Abu 'Abd al-Rahman 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (ra) as having said

I am not judging anyone ....... I am just asking a question came to my mind ......... those who are not imaan waale are going to hell hence I asked the question .....

I would be more concerned about yourself ... We all belong to God and He can do anything He Wills to us and it will not be zulm ... as we are His property ... He gave us life, fed us, gave us air to breathe and the enjoyments of this world ... if any of us go to hellfire it will be out of His Justice and if any go to heaven it will be out of His Mercy. For that woman who was illiterate born in a remote village and never heard of Islam is her excuse and let that be one for God to decide ... in fact it may be that lifelong worshiper does something that earns God's Wrath and it may be that a lifelong sinner does something to earn God's Forgiveness ... We don't know ... All we know is that God is True and the Akhira is true and Judgment is true ...
Shirk goes against reason - it goes against the most natural form of reason ... one needs not be in the presence of Islam to realise God is necessary and that God must be One.
