** okay, so whats wrong with the arcitecture? muslim had a huge empire amost all over the world where they built gorgeous tombs and mosque. why not show them off?**

Ask your friend, “how many of these people visiting the temples” converted to Hinduism after having seen the beautiful temple?

** there is lot of conversion in india to hinduism and budhism there by people from all over the world.**

Give your friend a good translation of holy Quran and let her see the beauty of Islamic beliefs. And if she sees the 'light', all these places are open to her.
** i dont have any desire or the mission of "converting" my friends. she is very much secure with her religion and i am with mine. i like her the way she is. **

1983 then 1998

I might be wrong then. But my knowledge tells me that Hijaaz includes Taaif as well. Wallah-O-Alam!

Mr. Armughal,

In Surah Tauba, the word 'Mushrik' i.e. idolaters is used. Jews or Christians are not called Mushrekeen by Holy Quran. Should they be allowed to enter kaba or not?
[/QUOTE]

mushrik does not mean 'one who worships idols'....
it means one who associates a partner with Allah in any form of worship....
all jews, christians, sabeans who r guilty of associating partners to Allah fall under the category of 'mushrik'....

those who do not associate a partner with Allah r termed as 'people of the book'....

Quran 2:62
*Lo! Those who believe (in that which is revealed unto thee, Muhammad), and those who are Jews, and Christians, and Sabaeans - whoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and doeth right - surely their reward is with their Lord, and there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve. *

Quran 3:199
*And lo! of the People of the Scripture there are some who believe in Allah and that which is revealed unto you and that which was revealed unto them, humbling themselves before Allah. They purchase not a trifling gain at the price of the revelations of Allah. Verily their reward is with their Lord. Lo! Allah is swift to take account. *

these people r exempt from the rules for 'mushrikeen'....

Was the Kaaba Originally a Hindu Temple?

Mr. Armughal,

So according to your logic, 'people of the book' who do not associate any partners with Allah and are non muslims, Can they be allowed to visit Kaba?

kaaba is not a tourist attraction for goodness sake!

If you want to take silly photos with 7ft clowns go visit disneyland!
