While I respect your intent brother, wasn't this post unnecessary and deterring??
Granted they are non-muslim but if they believe in God and call out to Him with different names, why is that a bad thing if they are good people - it is between them and God, who is al-RaHmaan (The Almighty Source) and al-RaHeem (The Merciful Sustainer)? If they have something to say against us, we first have to evaluate ourselves as to why they would say something like that, and if we have somehow misunderstood God's message, then we must correct ourselves first.
The nation of our prophet used to say to him "we have seen our elders on this path" and he used to repeat the Quranic signs that would end with "why would they not use their reason/intellect/logic/intelligence". I see the opposite for many on this forum... but that's just my 2, highly biased, cents.

^ Told who what? People follow religions based on the message they received and/or choose to believe. He sent many different messages, so perphaps he has laid out several paths.

No, Allah is not sellfish (Nauzubillah). However, He 'requires' His creations to show gratitude by obeying His commandments and directions. He is the Almighty, the Ultimate, He can require us to do whatever He wants. His requirements are pretty clear in his Divine Message - the only one valid at this time is the Holy Quran.
And Quran asks whether the believer and non-believer can be considered equal. Its very simple.
Allah also says in Quran that He will forgive everything except for shirk. So, it does matter what someone believes in. "Belief does matter!"

ok so other religions are outdated now. its like god created christianity and after some centuries he thought kuch mazaa nahin aa raha ..lets make islam.
i feel that all are equal in eyes of god as everything is made by god.

There aint no physical superbeing God Allah or Bhagwaan sittin there controlling and watching 6 billion humans, 7 thousand trillian insects, 400000000000000 trillion animals and bacterias... figuring out whos good and whos bad..

Stop believing in all other religions. They're all outdated. The new religion is Talislam after my last name Tali. We must convert everyone to Talislam. Believe me or Go to Hell.

therefore, Quran is for every time/place/era… Quran does not say “non believers used to say” .. it categorically says “non-believers say (in sarcastic manner) that will we be raised after we have become dust?”

God does what he wants - He doesn’t need our approval. Bear this in mind. And yes, when Hazrat Isa’s (Jesus) :as: message lost its significance among the people, it needed renewal. Once Hazrat Muhammad’s :saw: prophethood was decleared, his message repleced the previous ones. It’s in Quran, “Wa radeetu lakumul islamaa deena!.” This was the last revelation to Hazar Muhammad :saw: before his :saw: passing away.
If anyone wants salvation, he/she should become a Muslim before he dies. Otherwise, there would be no hope.
