Nowadays, almost in every marriage, there are so many rituals which in fact has nothing to do with Islam. Question if that, if we being a Muslim would like to stop acting upon these rituals from now on, can we?

Yes true LKK Bhai… it’s a form of Biddat…and we people wastes alot of money… but if you do it the simple way then mostly ur partner and his/her family will refuse and reject… wo kya hai naa ye ab Family Status ka maamla banta jaa raha hai…

May ALLAH bless us with the power to live with Sunnah & Islam…

I think Biddat is inventing something new in a religion, but these ritual (rasams) has nothing do it with Islam and these I think is more related to culture, if precisely spoken then it is a form of 'evil doings'.

Moreover, we feel proud to this evil doings. May Almighty Allah guide all of us. Ameen.

^ I met an Aalim today and fortunately our topic came onto Biddat too... He said muslim's marriage is an Islamic way of a bond between a man and woman, where Man include ALLAH as witness that he will never do bad with her..

while this process has been expanded from 30 mins to 3 to 4 days...

Yes, yes true... and that firing thing.. oh my GOD.. Aalim said... "Oh ALLAH ke bando tum kisi aadmi ke ghar uski beti lene jaa rahe ho ya BADMAASHI SE AGHWAA kerne jaa rahe ho...."

Most shocking thing is that when a person decide to arrange a marriage purely Islamic way, those peoples with unconscious minds became against that person. I mean if that person decided to to arrange in a positive way then why stopping him doing that? Why telling him to join negative way.

dont you think it's Lake of practice and carelessness of ISLAM onto us ??

we are getting hollow and loosing trust on afterlife...

I am just asking if anybody has observed a practice of pure islamic marriage anywhere in the world (without any local rasams)....... simple answer would be1) NO or2) yES....if yes then tell which region/country you observed it.......and what happens in such a wedding ceremony.

yes bro... Doctor Israr Ahmed's son did the marriage in a most simple way... I guess in lahore...

and the other example is Mukhtar sahab in my city.. he have 4 sons I guess.. they all were married in Mosque... :)

Kiya hona kuch bhi nahi. Those relatives who is obsessed with this ‘so called rams’ were angry but :alhamd: everything gone perfect and within the budget. Couples are happy or kiya chahiyeh bhai. :slight_smile:

These are individual acts...i was asking if it was practiced on a community level in any country.For example, Do Arabs, Turks, East Asians, Central Asians,African muslims....any of them do it like that??

In that case the answer will be that 50% of individuals practice in totally Islamic way and 50% don't do.
