non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

Having a Cinco de Mayo party and was going to make a fruit punch/sangria.

I found these recipes online.

2 questions

  1. what fruit should i freeze to use as ice cubes? Was thinking blue berries and grapes cut in half. it’ll look nice floating in the drinks.

  2. what’s a good juice mix?

I found the recipes below- i don’t want to add a carbonated dbeverage so was thinking just red grape juice, orange juice with both fresh and concentrated lemon/lime juice. ok?

Ingredients
4cups cranberry-grape juice
1
cup orange juice
1/4cup fresh lemon juice
1 pear, diced
1 apple, diced
3
cups carbonated lemon-lime beverage
Directions
1
In a large pitcher, combine cranberry-grape juice, orange juice, fresh lemon juice, diced pear, and diced apple.
2
Refrigerate for a least 2 hours.
3
Just before serving, stir in the lemon-lime soda and some ice.

Things You’ll Need:

Pitcher
4 cups red grape juice
1 tbsp. limejuice concentrate
Lime
1 cup orange juice
1 cup pink grapefruit juice
1 cup grapes
Measuring cup
1 liter club soda, cold
orange
1 tbsp. lime juice concentrate

Step1
Mix the red grape juice, pink grapefruit juice and orange juice in the 2.5-quart pitcher. Add a tablespoon of lime juice concentrate and blend.
Step2
Put the pitcher of juice in the refrigerator to chill while you prepare the fruits to go in the non-alcoholic sangria punch.
Step3
Cut an orange into thin slices, no more than 1/8-inch thick. Repeat this process with the lime.
Step4
De-stem and de-seed a bunch of grapes.
Step5
Add the prepared fruit and the cold club soda to the fruit juice mixture that you made earlier.
Step6
Give the non-alcoholic sangria a stir and it is ready to serve. Return the unused portion to the refrigerator.

Re: non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

omg!!!

i was bout to post the recipe of sangria i made 3 days ago

so i think its gonna help u

i was making for few ppl but u can increase the quantity of things according to ur need

so i took........

2 cups of grape juice try getting good quality and with richer flavour
2 cups orange juice
2 cups lemon juice (not fresh bottled one)

and u can add any other if available but these will work too

1 peach

1 orange

1 lemon

1/2 apple

and any other fruit u like

i use non-alcoholic beer instead of soda cuz beer gives it a nice tang

u can use soda too if u dont wanna add soda u can leave it but is tasted better with soda(unsweetened)

and for ice cubes grapes and berries will look nice

try it:biggthumb

Re: non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

Why are you adding soda...real sangria isn't carbonated...

Re: non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

Thanks!!!

did you use red or white grape juice?

agree w/ the queaston on why carbonate?

Re: non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

ditch grape, go with pomegranite and acai berry juice.

Re: non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

i used red grape juice and try having one with richer flavour

Re: non-alcoholic Sangria- advice please

fruit punches can be a variety. they can certainly be non alcoholic.

berries and bananas. pineapple and melons.
oranges and limes with berries.

all is good.
bestis with apple cider and cinnimmon stick warmed with some pina colada.

best,
